ATHLETES FOR THE
2013 FALL TRAINING Throws
Coach Florida is also offering Jumps coaching, and
is in the process of launching Jumps Coach Florida. In
establishing this new coaching service (located close to Orlando Florida)
will cater for all ages and
standards from beginner, to international performers. The
structure of the training will follow a Long Term Athlete
Development approach, an athlete centered program that many national
governing bodies for track and field, and prominent
coaches believe progress the athlete at the appropriate rate
depending on their age, and their physical /cognitive development
rate.
Currently the jumps group has a small number of high school aged high jumpers, ranging in ability from state medallists and nationally
ranked, to district and regional standard performers.
ADMISSION TO THE GROUP
The academy is currently taking admissions for 2013 training
blocks. Athletes will be accessed and placed in the appropriate group
depending on their age ability level.
BEGINNERS INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS
Introductory sessions for beginners will take place the first and
third Saturday of each month at the National Training Center situated in Clermont
Florida.
